The Philosophy behind WordPress and Its Free WP Themes
WordPress was created with simplicity in mind. The people who developed the site wanted the public to be able to set up blogs using free WP themes easily and without confusion. This philosophy allows users with little or no experience as well as those with lots of experience to set up their blogs in as little as 5 minutes.
WordPress makes this happen by asking for as few details as possible from the person setting up their blog. WordPress is designed for people who have little technical experience. This allows users to do what they came to the site for, a blog. WordPress has taken the work out of setting up a blog by making the technical decisions for its users.
When it comes to making decisions, whether they are technical or not, WordPress prefers to ask its users for their opinions. They ask for and read feedback from its users to keep the site designed and working for them. If a new feature gets negative feedback or a majority of users turn it off, it is removed from the site.
